Akshat Pareek - Test Manager

 

Here’s an inside look at what it’s like to work at Sandhata from one of our recent joiners, Akshat Pareek.

 

Tell us about your role at Sandhata

I joined Sandhata as Test Manager in 2022.

The key parts of my role include managing customers and stake holders, managing test teams and keeping track of all the test activities in the team. I am also accountable for the success of deliveries, especially in the early stages of projects.

 

How did you get started working in IT?

Akshat Pareek profile pictureI did my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from JECRC Jaipur, India. From my youngest days, I was inclined towards joining the armed forces. But life had different plans for me!

I was part of a campus recruitment drive and landed with a job in Accenture as a software engineer. There was no looking back from that point. I had a great time at Accenture working as a test analyst, then joined Nagarro and worked as a test lead for various digital projects.

I learnt a lot during these years. Now Sandhata has given me an opportunity to transition into managerial roles, which I am truly enjoying.

 

How was your experience of joining Sandhata during COVID?

My experience has been great. Everyone I have interacted with has been friendly and easy to talk to and the whole process of onboarding was very swift.

The onboarding team was very dedicated and sincere. They worked closely with HR, keeping me in the loop and guiding me until I was very settled in Sandhata.

 

What is something you are particularly proud of at Sandhata?

I would say the relationship Sandhata has with their employees.

We are often asked for our opinions and suggestions, which I guess is the really needed in today’s world.

 

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I practice classical singing and enjoy writing. I am also a poet and love writing and sharing my thoughts.
